About me.
My name is Laura Quint (28). I have been active in elite dressage sport since the age of thirteen. My international breakthrough came in 2015, when I won a silver team medal at the European Junior Championships with Velázquez (by Krack C), complemented by a bronze medal at the Dutch Junior Championships.
After moving up to the Young Riders category at the end of 2015, I consciously took a short competitive break in 2016 to successfully complete my pre-university (VWO) education. After obtaining my diploma and a brief period of academic orientation, I made a well-considered decision to fully focus on my sporting career and to pursue my passion for horses on a professional level.
This focus led to renewed international success in 2018. Together with Edison (by Johnson), I won a silver team medal at the European Young Riders Championships and a bronze medal at the Dutch Young Riders Championships.
Since 2020, I have been competing at Grand Prix level, where I am focused on further development and selection for international teams.

TRAINING AND COMPETITION ACCOMPANIMENT
After obtaining my pre-university (VWO) diploma and completing a period of academic orientation, I made a deliberate decision to fully dedicate myself professionally to elite equestrian sport. In addition to my personal ambition to achieve the highest possible level in dressage, I am actively involved in training and coaching young talents, as well as educating and developing sport horses.
On January 8, 2018, after completing an intensive training program of one and a half years, I obtained my diploma as a Competition Instructor (ORUN Level 4). The final examination was conducted under the auspices of the Dutch Equestrian Education Federation (Opleiding Ruiterfederatie Nederland) and the Royal Dutch Equestrian Federation (KNHS).
As a Competition Sport Instructor, I coach riders at all levels of competitive sport. My approach goes beyond riding technique alone: I combine technical training with competition preparation and mental coaching, and I actively support my students at competitions. Rider fitness, horse welfare, and sustainable athletic performance are at the core of my training philosophy.
